Ideal Opportunity for a Nanny in our Beautiful Intracoastal Home Near Las Olas/Fort Lauderdale
We are seeking an energetic, responsible, and nurturing nanny to care for our client's two young daughters (ages 2 and 4) while also assisting with household management and responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, enjoy working as part of a team, and have experience in childcare, household support, and travel. The position includes full benefits!
Responsibilities:
Childcare
· Provide attentive and loving care to two girls, aged 2 and 4 years old.
· Develop and implement tailored, age-appropriate educational activities, crafts, and playtime that cater to children’s learning style, academic requirements, and cultural understanding.
· Teach manners, etiquette, and social skills to prepare children for future interactions and responsibilities.
· Organize educational outings and activities that enhance the children’s overall development.
· Assist with daily routines, including dressing, feeding, bathing, and naptime.
· Transport the children to school, playdates, appointments, and other activities as needed.
· Always ensure the children’s safety and well-being.
Household Assistance
· Manage children’s activities and providers/ vendors of said activities (e.g. gymnastics, etc.).
· Oversee household team, including chef, housekeeper, driver, etc.
· Assist the housekeeper with general household tasks, including tidying, light cleaning, and organizing.
· Help with meal preparation and ensure healthy, balanced meals for the children.
· Pack and prepare belongings for trips, including organizing and ensuring everything is ready for travel.
· Handle laundry for the children and help with organizing the children’s rooms and belongings.
· Help with grocery shopping and running errands as needed.
Travel Support
· Travel with the family, accompanying them on vacations, business trips, or other outings as required.
· Assist with packing, coordinating travel arrangements, and ensuring a smooth travel experience.
· Help manage the children’s needs during travel, including meals, naps, and entertainment.
· Incorporate and engage in educational activities tailored to the travel destination (e.g. unique landmarks, culture, etc.).
Additional Duties:
· Maintain a flexible, proactive attitude in assisting with any other tasks or needs that arise in the household.
· Communicate effectively with parents and the household team to ensure smooth operations.
